Vessel in Matte White
by CW x Ekaterina Bazhenova Yamasaki
Unassumingly simple yet imbued with soul, this bowl is crafted for the housing of unexpected and irreverent items. Designed by Ekaterina Bazhenova Yamasaki, its sculptural form mirrors her conceptual, theme-driven approach, boldly deviating from the classical norms of decoration prevalent in traditional ceramics. The graceful contours of the piece draw inspiration from the historical use of drapery in painting to convey movement since the Renaissance, adding a touch of modernity to its artistic essence.

Ekaterina is an interdisciplinary artist working between London and Los Angeles. Her practice focuses on the body, fetish and patterns of self-perception.
