Clay Relic Candle - 415AD by Curionoir

Hypatia's Environment.

A blend of scents encompassing notes of tomato leaves, rosemary, grapefruit, Iranian galbanum, Somalian olibanum, agarwood, myrrh, vetiver, and Siam benzoin fills the air. This green and resinous fragrance is a tribute to Hypatia, the renowned female philosopher, astronomer, and mathematician. All the ingredients used in this fragrance were available on March 8th, 415 AD—the day when Hypatia met her tragic end.

Drawing inspiration from the ancient Egyptian works of the New Kingdom period, the Curio Clay Relics present a collection of individually hand-crafted vessels designed for perfumes and candles. These unique carriers are exclusively created for Curionoir by the self-taught potter, Kirsten Dryburgh. Crafted from clay sourced from the South Island of New Zealand, each vessel undergoes specific glazing and multiple firings to achieve its distinctive finish. Embracing the organic process of crafting, variations in shape and color are inherent to each clay relic. When you acquire one, you possess a truly unique piece of art.

Clay relic classic: 580g / 20.6oz (minimum) candles burn for 65+ hours.
