Large Vessel in Textured Beige
Goliath was created through a collaborative effort with artist Ekaterina Bazhenova Yamasaki. The artwork is intentionally designed to gracefully fold and unfold, evoking a theatrical performance that intertwines elements of choreography with chance and serendipity. Ekaterina employed a combination of presses, dents, and imperfections to imbue the vessel with a dynamic sense of motion, resulting in a piece that offers unique perspectives from every angle.
DETAILS:
The piece is thoughtfully handcrafted. It has a height of 18.5cm, a width of 18cm and a depth of 17cm at it's highest, widest and deepest points. Goliath has a textured surface that is rough to touch and that lends it an imposing quality. It can stand on its own as a sculptural object without any floral arrangement.
ARTIST:
Ekaterina is an interdisciplinary artist working between London and Los Angeles. Her practice focuses on the body, fetish and patterns of self-perception.
